Tell me MORE. A brief overview of the MORE Act.

In December, the US House of Representatives will vote on the MORE Act. If this act is approved by the House, it then moves into the Senate for a review and vote. If the bill is approved (and unchanged) in the Senate, it goes before the President for the signature to put the bill into law.

Here is what’s in the bill up for a vote in the House this December:

• Remove cannabis from list of Controlled Substances

• Expunge all past, non-violent cannabis criminal convictions

• 5% Federal tax on all cannabis sales

This bill faces opposition in the Senate but does have a more-than-favorable chance in the House. Please consider writing your US Representative and Senator and urge that person to vote in favor of medical freedom, and reverse over 50 years of bad legislation. Too may lives have been ruined and/or lost from bad policy at our national level. Make your voice heard, and vote accordingly when your congressional representative runs for reelection.
